VillaJR is a state of the art, 2 level, 2 bedroom, one-off villa being built for John & Elizabeth McRae. Whilst nothing revolutionary, the villa incorporates many modern design philosophies all in one building and 'sets the benchmark' of what is commercially realistic to achieve in Paphos without importing specialised skills or technology. • Thermal efficiency is achieved using cavity walls within a concrete frame (with 50mm insulation) plus a further 50mm insulation and stonework exterior cladding. A loft has been incorporated with 200mm insulation, wood burning stove plus under floor heating, solar heated water (with differential controller) plus a 3 phase photo voltaic grid-tie inverter system.
• The entire property is built around a Cat 6 1000Mhz network using all the latest intelligent switches and home entertainment / automation technology. Security is based on the latest alarm technology and PoE HD CCTV camera with off-site recording (and Tessa!). The electrical installation exceeds edition 17 / Part M and features a 25Kw automatic standby generator. The computerised garden irrigation system is fed from a 16t storage facility topped up from a 12t/hr bore hole.
